David Griffith

Dave is currently the Executive Director and Head Coach of Episcopal Community Services in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. ECS’s mission is to ask stakeholders to Look Up and Challenge Poverty and to do so with courage, capacity, and will. The focus of ECS is to address the issues of Intergenerational Poverty through stability, prevention, and transformational impact programs based on leading-edge brain science that provides coaching and incentives to participants to achieve economic mobility. www.ecsphilly.org

Dave also serves as director and Chairman on the boards of The Modern Group, Ltd, Delaware Valley Floral Group, Hoober Inc., and Verus LLC., and as lead director of Crazy Aaron’s Puttyworld.  His nonprofit interests include serving on the boards of the Philadelphia World Affairs Council, The Economy League of Philadelphia, Friends of Foundation Academy in Trenton, Victory Farms, Ride to Work, and The Academy of Natural Sciences at Drexel University where he is Chairperson and a member of the Drexel University Board and executive, audit, investment, and community partnerships committees.  Dave is a director of the Griffith Family Foundation, and Chair of the McEwen Family Scholarship Fund. He is an advisor to the Caliper Corporation, IBM, and Journal of Social Innovation. He is a graduate of Kenyon College ’76 and The Westminster School ‘72. At Kenyon, he received his BA with honors in Economics and History.

 

James Haynes

James Haynes brings his inquisitive nature, challenging leadership style and inclusive management approach to his advisor role which have been instrumental in meeting and exceeding organizational goals in Corporate America and Non-Profit workplace segments for more than 30 years. 

In his most recent position as President & CEO of Opportunities Industrialization Centers of America (OICA), James led an amazing and successful transformation where the organization experienced a National resurgence and expanded it’s primary reach and mission in Workforce Development. During his tenure, OICA was awarded over $35 million dollars in funding from the Department of Labor through a nationwide competitive bid process that expanded its signature National RE-entry program called SOAR. The program affords returning citizens an opportunity to excel in life – an opportunity to change the narrative for themselves, their families and their communities in a positive way.

Prior to joining OICA as President & CEO, James worked for Johnson & Johnson in both the US and International serving in a number of Senior Leadership positions within Supply Chain over his career as follows: Vice President Consumer Office of Strategy & Execution, Vice President Global Network Integration for the Group of Consumer Companies, Manufacturing Plant Manager, Vice President Strategic Supply Chain Baby and Beauty and a member of the Global Customer Development Council, Vice President World-Wide Operations Baby/Kids/Wound Care Franchises and was a member of the Management Board.

 

Michael A. Nutter

Michael A. Nutter is a life-long Philadelphian, born and raised in West Philadelphia and educated at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He has been dedicated to public service since his youth. After serving almost 15 years in the Philadelphia City Council, Michael A. Nutter was elected the 98th Mayor of his hometown in November 2007 and took office in January 2008. Since leaving public service on January 4, 2016, Mayor Nutter has remained active in public policy, government, and civic life.

His activities relevant to his advisory work at RTW have included serving as Chair of the U.S. Department of Transportation's Transportation Equity Advisory Council until January, 2017. He served as Executive Fellow at the University of Chicago Urban Labs and was appointed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia as a Member of the Economic and Community Advisory Council which concluded in December, 2019. In February 2021, Mayor Nutter was appointed to the Boards of the following organizations: Centre for Public Impact; Points of Light; Bipartisan Policy Center Housing Advisory Council and the Institute of Politics (IOP) at Harvard Kennedy School announced his appointment to the Institute’s Senior Advisory Committee. Mayor Nutter is happily married to his wife Lisa, and a proud parent to Christian and Olivia.
